Brian Summers

Brian Summers, a native of North Carolina, has been on the political circuit for 26 years, and his career has been accentuated by numerous significant events:

A political analyst for the Republican Senatorial Committee, Summers is a former presidential appointee for George W. Bush.

In addition to his work, Summers is a Founding Board Member of Ben’s Chili Bowl Foundation, an idea that grew out of his participation in the 50 th anniversary of Ben’s Chili Bowl, in 2008. He has been granted appointments to the New Jersey State Governor’s Board for Universities and Colleges and The Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation.

Summers is committed to building strong, impactful community relationships and is a fervent childhood adoption advocate. A self-described “political junkie,” he is frequently called upon for political commentary on conservative policy positions.

A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, Summers also holds a Master’s degree in Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Aside from his community activism, Summers writes liner notes for Motown Records/UMG in collaboration with The Temptations, John Legend, and a CD, The Best of Marvin Gaye. He was nominated for a Grammy for his work on the 30 th anniversary of Marvin Gaye’s iconic album, “What’s Going On?” in 2011. Summers is especially proud of his Gold and two Platinum records. Among his appointments is the Motown Foundation.

In 1998, Summers was invited to contribute to the NBC Temptations Movie. He currently participates in weekend Temptation tours.

In his spare time, Summers, who resides in Washington, D.C., volunteers with blood drives and does educational White House tours. He is a proud father who loves horseback riding and dancing.
